This formal Kimono dress was carefully hand-painted by a top class
�eKaga Yuzen�eartist, Kozo Shirasaka.

�eKaga Yuzen�f is a type of colour painting and Yuzensai Miyazaki originally initiated it in Edo period as �eKyo(Kyoto) Yuzen�f and later on it has been developed in Ishikawa Prefecture (formerly Kaga) as Kaga Yuzen style. It is famous for its rich soft colours and luxuriousness.

A phoenix is largely painted from the top right to the bottom with five basic colors-red, ocher, old purple, green and navy blue. The red, old purple and green are the prevailing colors in the pattern and these colors give elegant touch to the overall image of the dress.

This is certainly a splendid piece of Kimono dress and should be ideal for a formal occasion for a young lady.
