Powerful Top Page
I
gave a deep thought what a powerful top page was like after I had
been told by my seniors at OSMC.
The
top page I had made was not powerful enough to sell more expensive
things than the value of 3000 yen.
As
I did not get the meaning of ‘ powerful', I asked for the instruction
to several seniors.
Their
answers were only “ difficult matters” and weren't straight
to the clear answers.
Gradually
I became to know that beautiful images or pictures and much explanative
description were indispensable for selling expensive items.
Therefore
, after then, I spent my time on looking at and touching ‘USHIKUBI-TSUMUGI'
many times to find the suitable explanation of the actual colors and
qualities.
My
training was to be able to confront with ‘USHIKUBI-TSUMUGI'.
Though
my knowledge and experience of the item were scarce, I collected as
many books as possible on Kimonos and started to write the description
of them.
One
page of explanation for one item from a scratch was very hard but
I kept writing anyway. Then I purchased soft for HP and worked with
it for twenty hours every day.
My
time was not enough for all the works, changing the colors and sizes
of the fonts, controlling the size of the colors, the tone of their
colors , and studying other models of the sites.
With
no knowledge of the way how I could clean up the sources, of appropriate
size of the fonts at the time.
I
just kept on doing by ‘ trials and errors'.
I
still could see the grope in the dark which had remained in the later
source of the site.
I
saw all the changes of the fonts, refinement of the table which had
still not cleanrd away.
My
present day owes much to my past accumulated work.
These
times were when I was fed up with making HP, not having heard other
people's words, TV sounds. I even couldn't remember if I had any descent
meal.
May
people worried about me and gave me calls, invited me for dinners,
but I had no time to accept them. Even one second of the time was
precious.
Four
months later, when I went to a beauty salon, I noticed how much my
hair had been damaged. I couldn't but laugh at myself to see my damaged
hair.
One
time of those days, my son, a high school boy said to me, “ You
look so happy”.
